The Art Of Reborning

You may or may not have heard of Reborn Dolls or "Babies" as they should really be called.
But you're sure to find them as fascinating as I did on first discovery!

It's the art of taking an ordinary vinyl doll, and customising it, creating a beautiful lifelike baby using special hair, paint, tools etc to create lifelike hair, veins, skin pigment and colour.
The process of creating a Reborn Baby is referred to as Reborning.

OOAK, meaning "one of a kind,"  OOAK dolls are often used in reffering to the art of reborning.
OOAK dolls are also referred to as repaints, as their original face paint is removed by the artist, who then paints the doll in a realistic, fantasy or celebrity facial style.

Take your time to wander through my site and see just how lifelike they really are.
I especially like the Preemies.

Or if you fancy having a go, try my Kits page, you might find a baby you just have to have!
